Transit Police seek robber

 

Mass Transit police need help looking for a suspect in a robbery that occurred at the 35th Street Red Line station. The incident happened on February 15th, about 2:30 am. According to officials, the suspect came to a passenger at the station and initiated a conversation. In the brief encounter, the suspect threatened the use of a gun, implying that he was dangerous. He further extended a threatening demand, which was that the victim should give up the mobile phone while making it clear that any failure to do so might lead to disastrous cases, which might involve his shooting. Befearing bodily harm, the victim gave into the demand as he yielded the device to the suspect who took off away from the scene. The police are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect please come forward and assist their investigation.
