Suspects wanted in Chatham shooting





 

   Chicago police have released a video and several photos of four wanted in connection with a deadly shooting incident that happened over the week. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 5, and was captured on video, which has become an important evidence in the still ongoing investigation. In the footage, the suspects were shown to emerge from two black SUVs around the area of East 79th Street and South Cottage Grove Avenue. Police said those targeted were only a few feet away from the sidewalk at the time of the shooting. Unfortunately, one was killed and two others injured by the bullets. Surveillance camera images revealed that the suspects were armed when the shooting happened. Based on images, police estimate the ages of the attackers to be between 15 to 25 years. Police are encouraging anyone with information about any of the individuals or the events leading up to the shooting to come forward and assist investigators.
